Frequently Asked Questions

About Celebrant Ceremonies

What's the difference between a celebrant and a registrar?

Registrars conduct legally binding ceremonies but have limited flexibility in content and location. Celebrants create completely bespoke ceremonies that can take place anywhere, but couples need to complete legal requirements separately.

Booking & Planning

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May-September). However, I'm happy to work with shorter timescales when my diary allows.
