Celebrations of Life - Honouring Those We Love

It is a huge privilege to honour a loved one's life and to find beautiful and fitting ways to do so. Whether through songs and poetry, photos and videos, or everyone wearing a pop of colour as a nod to their loved one’s favourite team, a celebration of life ceremony can be tailored exactly to what they would have wanted.

My Approach to Celebrations of Life

Every person's life tells a unique story, and every celebration should reflect that individuality. I specialise in creating ceremonies that capture the essence of who someone was - their passions, their humour, their values, and the love they shared with those around them.

I particularly love incorporating botanical symbolism into my celebration of life scripts, where I identify a tree, flower, or plant that symbolises the person being celebrated. This creates a beautiful, lasting connection to the natural world and can provide comfort long after the ceremony ends.

Creating Your Loved One's Tribute

  • Full-sun

    Planning Meeting

We'll begin with a conversation about the person being celebrated so I can discover what mattered most to them, memorable stories, values, and the tone you hope to convey through the ceremony.

  • Full-sun

    Crafting the Ceremony

I'll create a heartfelt tribute that weaves together your memories, meaningful music, readings, symbolic elements, and personal anecdotes. If you'd like, I'll include botanical symbolism that reflects your loved one's character or passions. We'll review and revise until the ceremony feels exactly right.

    Venue Coordination

If there's a rehearsal or pre-ceremony co-ordination needed with venue staff or other contacts, I'll be there to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

    The Celebration Itself

On the day, I'll lead the ceremony with calm reassurance while offering space for emotion, reflection, and connection, allowing you and your loved ones to honour the moment and create meaningful memories.
